It’s easy to take trees for granted. How many trees do you pass every day without even knowing what type they are? Yet they clean our air, keep us cool, and provide wood for shelter, fire and making many everyday objects.
They also communicate with each other, and provide homes for all manner of creatures.
The Woodland Trust is urging people to show some tree love by hosting a tree party. Pick a tree and host a fundraising party to help plant more trees and protect the ones we’ve got. It could benefit you as much as the trees, according to some studies on forest bathing – and it’s a great way to have fun for free.
