I confess that I am somewhat partial to gifts: making them, giving them and, on special occasions, receiving them. Yesterday was my birthday and I was lucky enough to receive some wonderful gifts, one of which is pictured above. These cute plant markers were made by a jewellery designer friend (who also makes fab fry up brooches among other things) and allow me to see, at a glance, what’s growing where.
