Posted by Duckling watch season is here and the canal beckons, particularly on a sunny day. Sadly, the ducklings were hiding today (but here are some from previous years – any excuse for duckling pictures…)
However, the sunshine cast fascinating shadows as I fed the ducks.
The swans happily admired their reflections.
And the light sparkling on the water was beautiful.
If you’re at a loose end, head for the nearest canal or pond and feed the birds. There will be hungry ducklings, even if they are still hiding. And who knows, you might get lucky and see new life.
