Today, the world was tinted orange for many people in the UK. I didn’t capture the red sun or orange glow. However, I felt its stillness, and the strangeness of a new filter over all I saw.
The autumn leaves were all the more orange, and red flowers vibrant in the tinted landscape.
It passed, sooner than I expected. Seeing white clouds against blue skies felt all-the-more beautiful because the light had dimmed. I won’t take light and dust-free air for granted again.
