Over the spring and summer I’ve loved taking photos for #Wildflowerhour on Twitter, sharing my week’s finds between 8 and 9pm each Sunday, and seeing the flowers others have spotted. It’s a great way to learn – and see how seasonal changes vary from place to place.
Now that the weather is cooler, rather than setting more specific challenges such as ‘urban wildflowers’, the Wildflower Hour organisers have set a simpler challenge: find and ID ten wildflowers to share each week.
How many wildflowers can you find? And how much can you learn about the flowers around you? If you struggle to identify a flower, don’t worry. There are plenty of helpful people using the #WildflowerHour tag who will help you hone your knowledge.
