One of the joys of 30 Days Wild is that it brings nature into focus. Looking at a flower can lead to spotting pollinators – far more diverse than bees alone – and getting a closer look at them shows the beauty in the tiniest things.
I wasn’t sure what the flower or bug were when I posted a photo on Twitter. AnneOnTheShelf kindly told me she thought the flower is White Bryony. 30 Days Wild is a great way to connect with fellow nature lovers on Twitter – many of whom share beautiful nature photos and blog posts year-round.
I’m guessing the bug is a type of hoverfly though I’m far from certain as there are over 1,500 pollinators in the UK.
Don’t just ignore bugs. Take a closer look to see how lovely they can be.
